There's a start. I just wanted somewhere for MY browser to start, and now that I sorta
have it figured out who knows the possibilities. I do know that I want to put a World
Wide Tour on line. If you have any suggestions as to how I could do more of
this stuff in html - let me know, the resourse I have are rather limited.

Somehow, against all Platonic law, I have woven myself a place in this awe full
intellect as both a writer of poetry and philosophy. I make no claims of doing a good job
at either task, but I enjoy both, and what more can you ask? I have been writing poetry
since Junior High and chose philosophy as my major at Memorial University of Newfoundland
after finding a lack of stimulating conversation coming out Chemistry 1000. It has only
been 2 years at MUN now, and I finally have come to realize that perhaps journalism will
be the Master Program of choice after the BA, but I am open for suggestions.
I have been on line since I started university in 1995 and have gone through various
phases or IRCing, e-mailing and the like. Now that I have that addiction all under control
perhaps my school work won't suffer because of it. This however is my first shot at this
whole home page thing, so I plead ignorance. Still, I have said ti before and will again -
it is time! I figure throwing poetry and philosophy papers onto a page for critesisium and
debate could make for some twisted sense of fun and it might even be good for me! Imagine
that!
I haven't said much about myself, of course what is there to tell? Some day soon I may
be able to get my pic up, or at very least one of my guinea pig Persephone. Perhaps I'll
even make a link for the Girl Guide unit I am a leader with. Else I will just make that
fundamental error of leaving a shoddy page up for all to see and laugh at. NO WAIT, no one
cares that much. Phew, I am safe.
So today June 1st, 1998, though this page has been sitting in pieces on my hard drive
since September. Perhaps I should set a goal to actually have this thing looking half way
decent by the end of the summer.
When I started I was doing so from scratch out of a Students Internet Guide, it isn't
much better through the Front Page Express but it can only go up hill from here. My S.O.
is a web designer - but I am doing it on my own! Ahh, the independence, ahh the rush, ahh
the mess. Maybe my S.O. will see it before I am finished - nah, too much effort. We'll
just see what happens.
